Report: Big Mountain Resort is buried under a deep winter base with 110 inches of snow. Heavy snowfall has added 6 inches in the past 24 hours and 28 inches over the last week. Conditions are powdery with blizzard-like winds reaching up to 35 mph, making for poor visibility on the mountain. Despite the storm, 42 of 52 trails remain open and 7 of 10 lifts are running, though some closures are in effect due to high winds.
